Meet Dale Holmes
A Clarkesville broker with deep roots in northeast Georgia

In 2005, Dale Holmes left an established family-owned real estate brokerage in Clarkesville, and opened a small boutique brokerage office near the Batesville community in northern Habersham County under the name “Headwaters Realty.”
The name came from the geographical area where the waters from northern Habersham, White, and western Rabun counties form to make the headwaters of the Soque River, the Chattahoochee River, and the upper Savannah River basins.
Dale as broker/owner ran the single-agent office in the Batesville community, while his wife Jean, a licensed real estate appraiser, operated Land and More Appraisals.
In 2012 Dale and Alan Baker partnered to form Headwaters, LLC, and opened the current location at 112 Spring Street in Clarkesville, Georgia with a team of real estate professionals serving many clients and customers in Northeast Georgia.
